Inculcating Academic Acumen: An Analysis of The Existing Pedagogy Patterns in Girls’ High Schools of Aligarh District

Abstract

The present research study aims to explore and highlight the analysis of the existing pedagogy of patterns of teaching writing skills in the Girl's High Schools of Aligarh district. Primarily, the study covered various approaches to teaching writing. The study aimed to cover the necessity of implementing effective approaches and knowing what constitutes competent writing. The writing of performance competence is not discerned to be processed in which teachers transmit knowledge to students, but one in which the students design their writing performance competence on their own initiative. Through this current research study, the researcher further aims to apply various theories for understanding how the writers who are beginning their writing skills to develop the ability to participate in the communicative practices of academic written communication and develop rhetorical consciousness. The researcher, in order to achieve the objectives of the study, thus adopted a survey method for the students studying in Aligarh.
