Overall View of Rabindranath’s Sensibility

Rabindranath Tagore was a great writer of his time. The present paper explores the
sensitivity of Tagore towards human through his short stories and poems. Literature is a great
tool of expression of human emotions and feelings. The paper focuses on the importance of
pain in human life through his some selected works. It highlights that pain is the abiding
source of man’s being and it also claims Tagore’s transcendental eminence.
