A Study of Racism in the select novels of Ishmael Reed

Abstract

Ishmael Reed is an eminent writer in African-American literature. He used racism in his most of the novels. He wrote many novels and poetry but every works portrays the  Racism and Neo-HooDoo. They are the main themes of his works. The slave narrative is a main concept in the African literature. Reed also followed the same theme in different aspects in his works. Many if the African-American writers had written their own experience in their works as well as Reed also portrays his personal experience in some of his novels. This paper deals the suffering of the blacks under the custody of white.
