Introduction:

The  Indian  Education  Commission  1964-66  rightly  observed,  ‘the  weakening  of social and moral values in the younger generation is creating many values among the  younger  generation.  This inculcation of values is possible only through education, is a naked fact’. It is obvious that the education is the main instrument in achieving the national goals and values. The Secondary Education Commission (1952-53) also observed that ‘the destiny of nation is associated with Value Behaviour. The president  of our nation  Prof.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam expected the value based national progress. This value based national progress is possible only with true education i.e., value oriented education. This is possible only with Teachers with Value Behaviour and their satisfaction towards their profession.
