Abstract

This research paper emerges from a sub project of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), “An Evaluative Approach to Enhance the Technical Writing Skills of B.Sc. (Agri.) students” to identify the status of the technical writing skills of B.Sc. (Agri.) students that was carried out between July 2015 and December 2016. The main objectives of this project are:

  1. to identify the fallible areas of technical communication of agricultural graduates,
  2. to offer suitable remedial exercises and

iii. to study and evaluate the impact of remedial exercises over a period of one year.

All the third B.Sc. (Agri.) students were taken for the study. The sample is the mid semester written answer scripts of third year B.Sc.  The 96 samples were collected by applying stratified random sampling method.
