Abstract

Indian English poetry is the second language. A poet writing in her mother tongue feels that he cannot reach all the corners of the country. The minutes of Macaulay a conspiracy to subvert Indian identity and culture, others regarded it as the precursor of Renaissance in India. South Asian poets has introduced various themes and provided a new vitality to their poets. The experience must not be derivative but genuine, and the communication must be in a language. Imtiaz Dharker a Pakistan-born British poet, Meena Alexander one of the most accomplished poets, Kamala Das Indian author who wrote openly and frankly about female sexual desire and Kamala Bhasin an Indian developmental feminist activist are the four Indian born South Asian poets who delivers their verse as an urging voice of every woman in their country .
