The term feminism is first coined by French philosopher Charles Fourier in 1837.

Literature is divided into three main divisions namely Prose, Poetry, Drama during the ancient days. From that period to till now the voices of women in literature are highly welcomed by the audience. Later it has developed into various forms like novel, short story, novella etc…..Literature is one which depicts the world in pages. So, it has accepted the changes for its development. While feminist around the world have differed in causes, goals and intentions depending upon the time, culture and country, most western feminist historians assert that all movements that work to attain women’s rights should be considered even they did not apply the term to themselves. People and activists who discuss or advance women’s equality prior to the existence of the feminist movement are sometimes labeled as protofeminist. Protofeminism is philosophical tradition that anticipates modern feminism in an era when a concept of feminism is unknown.

“Feminism isn’t about making women stronger, women are already strong

It’s about changing the way the world perceives that Strength”
