Abstract

In the present scenario, the old age people, often, speak of as the “Senior Citizen”, have to encounter so much of hurdles in the society in which they live. A man‟s life is customarilyseparated into five stages namely; infancy, childhood, adolescence, adulthood and old age. Old age is viewed as an unavoidable, undesirable and problem ridden phase of life. Problem of aging, by and large gives the impressionof the age after 65.The venerationseems to be a thinned form to them. Not even for a penny can be attained from them – some say. But if the person possesses much property, he /she are treated like a king or queen. Every human being is the victim in the clutches of inflexible realities. The elderly people are not the exceptional. Different ages of people meet head-on variety of obstacles in their progress. The stages of life embark on from infancy to the old age.
