Culture and Society in Terms of Postmodern Traits from Don De Lillo’s novel The White Noise
Abstract
Culture is the root for all human beings which is created by humans and practiced for centuries. It is one of the social behavior and norm by the human society. Evolution of minds and the practicality is put to test as the human’s originate and migrate from one place to another their identity is shadowed for their survival. Every historical event has their own disproval of their own culture and anthropology. As ages pass on the evolution of human and their thoughts on their roots were also got evolved and it gives the disbelief to the original one. Likewise, Postmodernism is one such reaction towards modern roots of culture, tradition and society which enframes the society through unrealistic factors. The culture and society which was portrayed in terms of postmodern roots by Don DeLillo will focus on the anti-culturalism and materialistic society.
