Psychological Factors Permeating Global Literature – An Overview

Communication is sharing or interchanging of thoughts, feelings and emotions through interaction by means of a language. It is one of the dire necessities of human life. English is branded as a lingua Franca for its global appeal. Based on its importance, the Global Literature is occupying a significant role by revealing the psychology of modern man. Writers, by employing several psychological factors attempt to bring to light, the plight of common man. This paper highlights psychology from the perception of the writer as an individual and the same from that of the readers. It also throws light on psychology as a perspective for the teaching of literature, the creative process, the psychological analysis of text and reader relationships with audience as well. The reading and understanding of the thematic inter connection established between the affective factors of Psychology and Literature from different perspectives through the considerations set out in Literary Studies is also discussed
