Global literature is not a new concept, but it is the new way of developing the literature all over the world. It is the innovative way of transporting the world literature to the reader. Each literature has its own culture. The cultures were transmitted in book by the writers of that period. Global literature is a fine tool to analyse the globalization and it is the wonderful tool to express the aspects of particular country. The study of world literature is an influential tool for global studies. Literature comprises many themes and that is essential for understanding the globalization. Global literature shows how the information is transmitted between cultures and nations. All information can be exposed to the world through language. English is the lingua franca. The global literature has reached the reader with the help of English language. Major changes and contributions have been revealed in literature, but it touches the reader only through English language. Literature can be the body of written works, which was spread by English language. The teachers of literature need to have some pedagogical approach to teach literature. Literary text can teach communal lives, national limitations and culture, etc. The students need to develop the skills in the second language, so the teacher needs pedagogical approach to teach the students. The practice of all the four skills in the classroom may help the learner to attain success. Activities and collaborative learning brings interest among the students. Classroom activities like aloud reading, enacting the play and group discussion promote the capacity of the students. This paper makes an attempt to expose the importance of English language through global literature and strategies to teach the second language learners.
