Abstract

The paper entitled “Literature: A Voice of Hope for the Silenced and Voiceless” focus on literature and it serves as the ray and voice for the downtrodden and supressed people of the society. The paper is divided into two parts. The first part of the paper discusses about the struggles of woman in the society and how their struggles are revealed with the help of literature. It also focuses on some women writers who gives their voice for the women who are silenced in the society. The women writers use literature as the tool to express their ideas and views. It portrays about the importance of Feminism in literature.The second part focus upon Dalit people who struggles and suffers in the hands of the high class people of the society. Dalit writers want a change in the society and they want to bring equality in the society. The writers are against the patriarchal concept of royal class people. These writers show their real experience through their writing to bring glory for their community.
