Abstract

 This paper fetches the cultural elements in Kazuo Ishiguro’s A Pale View of Hills. How the protagonist and the narrator of this novel struggles in view of adapting a new culture.  How do they become alienated from others through adapting the new culture? The freedom of choice and loss of a adapting new culture and leaving the old culture in the novel has brought through the characters.
