Abstract

Collaborative learning as an instructional method in pedagogy focuses on the advancement and facilitation of learning. The method involves team teaching in the classroom, collaborating learners and collaborating different courses. It promotes sharing of responsibilities and achieving targets together with others. A rule governed language provides limited scope for mastering a language in isolation. Integration of collaborative methods expedite the process of learning and retention of the knowledge. The Collaborative methods remain currently the least frequently used methods. In this perspective, the present research article attempts to bring out the nuances and possibilities of collaborative learning at tertiary level.
