Abstract

I am not that woman is a poem by Kishwar Naheed. In this poem, the poet depicts about the difficulties faced by women in a patriarchal society. This poem displays the issues of discrimination imposed onwomen by the society, where women are treated as commodities for advertisement and also as slaves to fulfil the needs of men.  Womenare reduced to mere body without considering themas humans. Naheed wants every woman to provoke her inner strength to create an authority for women in this society
