Abstract

 Throughout the world, there is awareness of the fundamental role of the new innovations of modern educational technology in the field of education. The availability of innovations of modern educational technology (internet, interactive whiteboard, E-books, Blog, web. 2.0 tools etc) in Indian market is increasing, yet the fact is the use of such tools in the classroom to be low. The purpose of this study was to examine students’ attitudes towards the innovations of modern educational technology in their teaching learning process. The study also investigates the role of these tools at the present in Kashmiri schools. The data for the study were collected through the use of quantitative method. The data was collected through the self-constructed questionnaire by the investigator, and was distributed to 200 students of senior secondary schools of Kashmir.  The findings of the study, which were obtained by analyzing the data collected from the students, revealed that, there is almost no role of innovations of modern educational technology at present, but the students hold a positive attitude towards these innovations of modern educational technology.
