Abstract

Technology is ubiquitous in today’s world and has transformed how we live our lives. As such it becomes crucial to deploy technology into our classrooms effectively. When integrated effectively in the academic process, it provides for a helpful way to connect with students of all learning styles. In an ESL classroom specially, it is interesting to study how technology has revolutionized the acquisition of the four major skills namely Speaking, Reading, Listening and Writing. Technology has truly expanded the classroom beyond its walls and limitations of time by offering new ways of engaging with texts and innovative methods in the teaching-learning process.
