Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the effects of modern technology on the lives of the farmers. This study will help the farmers to understand the importance of modern technology. Four hypotheses were formulated. The scope of the study was limited to the farmers living in Multan. The mixed research approach was adopted. The population was comprised of all the farmers in Multan. The researcher used the stratified random sampling design along with purposive sampling design. Population (n=15) was taken for pilot testing. The mode of determining the role of modern technology was through a close and careful study. Questionnaires and interview protocol were major techniques used for data collection. Data was collected through personal visits. Data was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The result of the test showed that the benefits of modern technology are available for the farmers. On the basis of findings concrete recommendations were
