Abstract
AbstractJohn Maxwell Coetzee, the White South African novelist and Nobel Laureate occupies a unique place among the contemporary novelists. He has attracted worldwide attention to his magnificent examination of the effects of colonial oppression and racial apartheid. He gives a voice to the people in the Third-world countries who have been silenced by oppression.
