Sir Vidiadhar SurajprasadNaipaul or more commonly known as V.S Naipaul is one of the most sublime Trinidadian-British writer present. He is an author, whose works are often subject matters of many disputes and misunderstanding amongthe critics of contemporary literary scene. This controversial writer has divided the critics intotwo contrasting parties. Some eulogize him as one of the most gifted authors of these days; theothers censure him for racial arrogance. He is known as an author, who is eitherloved and admired or repudiated. After all, there is one thing that most of the critics agree on and it is the fact that Naipaul is the master of observation and depiction and always provideshis reader with very sophisticated descriptions.
