Suniti Namjoshi was a free bird from the very beginning of her life. In her passion for freedom from conventional hetero-sexual commitment and finding completeness in woman kind; she let no stone unturned. In her world a lesbian lives a perfect life. The life of a common woman is male dominated and the rights of her is not only unheard but she is suppressed to a state where her self-respect and identify get destroyed completely. Her poetry presents an alternative model of women empowerment and female identity through lesbianism. Her lesbianism is a solution to establish female self-respect and life of freedom. PAPER
