AbstractThere is a dominant view in certain circle that philosophy and religion are inalienably related. Even though there are instances of reputed philosophers who never want to be associated with any type of religious belief or faith, there are some thinkers who take up the view that since religion in some form or other is found to be prominent in any civilizational set up throughout the globe long since (and even now) it can?t be ignored. A philosophical study or appraisal of religious concepts, ideas and different forms of activities, championed in different religious traditions can?t be set aside. Those definitely need some philosophical probing.
