Innovative Teaching Methods In The Digitalized Scenario

Abstract

The use of technology has become an important part of the learning process. Technologies are usually used in language classes. In foreign language teaching technological devices played an integral and vital place for the learning and teaching purpose. Due to the development of technologies new devices and applications are launched in all the time by the trending updates. Technology is used to transform and develop and also teachers need to adopt the change and equip the technology knowledge. In language teaching and learning, we have a lot of choice from the world of technology: Radio, TV, CD Rom, Mobile, Computers, Computer assisted Language Learning through Internet, Electronic Dictionary, Email, Blogs and Audio Cassettes, Power Point, Videos, DVD’s or VCD’s. Using Multimedia to create a context to teach English has its unique advantages. The rapid development of information technology has offered a better pattern to explore the new teaching models. This study focuses on the role of using new technologies in learning process. It also concentrate on the term technology and technology integration, explained the use of technology in language classroom, reviewed previous studies on using technologies in improving language learning skills, and stated certain recommendations for the better use of these technologies, which assist learners in improving their learning skills.
