Techniques of Teaching Grammar

Abstract

Grammar occupies prior position in language and it is the soul of a sentence. Meaningful sentence conveys that a person is versatile in grammar. But teaching grammar for second language learners is a hectic task.  Grammar seem to be giant, shapeless bundle, invincible challenge for the learners. It is suggested that grammar can be taught by games and activities. These kind of activities and games can improve their creative thinking and make them confident. Visual and practical learning can create great impact on students when compared to the rules and methods of usual way. Group activities will facilitate students to learn leadership qualities and how to tackle a problem. This article gives the glimpse of different activities like letter game, build a sentence, card game, verb-adverb charades.
