Abstract

Laxmi Narayan Tripathi a transgender activist and a well-known classical dancer was born in Thane, India. This novel, “The Red Lipstick” portrays the life of Laxmi Narayan Tripathi with all its ups and downs. This paper presents vividly the unbelievable support provided by Laxmi’s father even after knowing that Laxmi was a transwoman.
