?Effective Communicator? is what most of the business firms are looking for today. Job aspirants from the rural back drop are struggling harder than their urban counterparts in getting into the Multi National Companies (MNC’s ) with their ’s till to improve? performance in English Communication besides their technical expertise. This article aims at providing suitable solutions for their problem.. As an assistant professor in English in an engineering college for the last eight years, I have been facing many rural students with problems in communication in English .Even though they study English up to their 12th level, they are not able to perfect themselves in English in terms of basics, fluency and pronunciation. By the time they realize their inefficiency, the interviews and group discussions are before them demanding an effective communication. On the other hand, the expectations of MNC’s regarding the communication are always standing high which most of the rural aspirants fail to reach. This gap must be bridged with the aspirants with satisfactory communication skills in English.
