Need For Promoting Interest And Participation In Learning English.
Abstract
Language has its roots in its spoken forms. Due to its essentially dynamic nature it is founded on the interplay of its spoken forms in all its social and communicating functions. The written language is only one of the multiple faces of language.
The widespread use of English has turned a significant percentage of the world’s population into full-time users of English. Considerably, the spoken language is the more difficult since work must be done at a number of linguistic levels at once. Spoken English is essential for students because they need it for various purposes in their later life and would be a serious handicap if they cannot use it well.
